Hi, my name is Anna, the crafter of all these lovely creatures.  I love working with felt, using fine stitching to create beautiful, high-quality pieces, whether a simple heart or a colourful complexed dragon.

I fell in love with craft from a very young age as I went to a school which had a strong focus on teaching craft through several different mediums.  From my preschool days of finger knitting and weaving then in grade school to knitting, felting, hand stitching and machine stitching.  In hard crafts I learnt woodcarving, clay moulding and metal and leather embossing.  I loved every second of being able to explore all these different mediums, but my heart lies with sewing felt creations.

After a traumatic accident that left my hands severely weakened, I didn’t think I would ever be able to sew again. Many years passed and I missed sewing tremendously.  With the encouragement of my mother and undying love of crafting I tried sewing again. I started small and simple but found I could do more than I thought and my love for sewing grew even stronger.   Being able to sew these beautiful felt pieces has brought joy into my life after a dark time and sharing them with you all is a dream come true for me.

For me the challenge and joy of sewing is creating perfect stitches and selecting felt and thread colours which showcase these beautiful pieces.  My goal is to use high quality natural materials to provide soft playthings for children which are warm and inviting to the touch and encourage imaginative play. Many of my creations can also provide comfort and calm to adults who will appreciate the aesthetics and feel the love that goes in to everything I make.
